Crescendo Music Competition Award
At the 2024 edition of Crescendo Music Competition in New York, Asen was awarded the Top Teacher award for his work with piano students Oliver Clarke and Amelia Kohart. Oliver Clarke won first price at his age category and performed at the Carnegie Hall recital for the competition. Amelia Kohart placed second in her age category and performed at the Merkin Hall piano recital for the competition.

Golden Dragon Award

Steinway Educational Partner
This year Asen became a Steinway certified piano teacher and his piano teaching studio is now an official Steinway Educational Partner. Asen will present a recital of his piano students at Steinway Hall in Manhattan on October 26th.

Recording Music for the Film “Mark and Sophie”
Asen finished composing and recording the music for the film , “ Mark and Sophie”. The soundtrack consist of music for the classical piano trio format: piano, violin and cello . Stay tuned for the release of the movie and the album soundtrack later in the year.

Berlin Concerts with Vladimir Karparov
Asen is going to play a few concert in Berlin, Germany with his long time friend and music collaborator Vladimir Karparov.
Asen and Vladi Karparov will be also recording an album of original music at Tune In Recording Studio in Berlin, together with Igor Spallati on bass and Péter Somos on drums.
The production of the album has been made possible with financial grant from the Berlin Senate Department of Culture.

Golden Key Piano Compositions Award
Asen was warded a certificate of excellence from the 2024 Golden Key Piano Composition Competition for his work with student Oliver Clarke, who was warded a second prize for the composition Toccata for Two Pianos.

Teaching Award from American Protege Competition
At the 2023 American Protege Music Competition Asen was awarded a certificate of recognition for his work with his students Sanvi Jain and Amelia Kohart, who placed 2nd and 3rd in their age category. Both students were selected to perform at the December 17th, 2023 Carnegie Hall recital.

Certificate of recognition from the American Protege Competition
Asen received certificate of recognition from the American Protege International Piano and Strings Competition. His students Max Radzyminski and Amelia Kohart succesfully qualified for the final stage of the competition, which will take place in Carnegie Hall, New York in the Fall of 2021.
